We are now listed as a specified essential service and as such we remain open to help you and your pets during these challenging and uncertain times.

We are taking all measures possible to ensure the safety of you, your pets and our team. Please rest assured that through all this your pet’s care and comfort is of the highest priority and they will receive the same level of professional attention and treatment as before to get them back on the road to health

We ask that you:
1/ Always phone ahead to make an appointment or to organize medications and food
2/ That you wait outside until the reception area is clear
3/ Be prepared to pay via card or direct deposit, we will not accept cash
4/ Maintain the recommended 1.5m social distancing
5/ Use the hand sanitizer provided on arrival and sign our visitors log
6/ Bring your own pen if uncomfortable with using ours
7/ Be prepared to spend as little time as possible in direct face to face contact with our vets and nurses
8/ Only have one family member accompany your pet
9/ If you have been unwell, experienced any cold & flu like symptoms or been in contact with someone that has corona, please arrange for someone else to bring your pet to the clinic.

On our part we have
1/ Improved our already rigorous cleaning and disinfection program
2/ Reduced routine procedures and only schedule one appointment per time slot to ensure a reduced number of people in the hospital/clinic at any one time
3/ Developed a pre-consultation questionnaire to be submitted online, where applicable, prior to your visit. This will gather important case history and reduce contact time
4/ Consent forms will be emailed and submitted online to limit hand contact
5/ Use hand sanitizer and disinfect consult contact areas before and after every visit
6/ We are splitting our staff into 3 teams which do not have contact, so if one team becomes infected, the whole hospital does not have to close
7/ Patients are taken away for examination and procedures rather than being examined in the consult room with their owners
8/ Consultations and discharge appointments done over the phone where possible
9/ Food and medications can be delivered to the local area at no extra charge (Tuesdays and Fridays)

We realize that these are all significant changes and we apologize for any inconvenience created but firmly believe that by us all working together we can ensure that we can continue to remain open to assist you and your pets.
